Latest Indy 500 Weather Forecast: Mostly Dry, No Chance of Severe Weather
The 109th Indy 500, widely regarded as one of the world's largest events, will draw an expected 350,000 fans on Sunday.
While the Indy 500 weather appears favorable for now, it is crucial to watch a storm system in the central US to ensure that rain stays south and west of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Saturday Forecast

Furthermore, partly overcast skies with mild breezes are also expected.

Sunday Forecast
Racers, their crews, and fans will begin the day with a low of approximately 50 degrees.
A storm system bringing rain to the central and southern US is expected to bring more cloud cover as temperatures rise into the mid to high 60s in the early afternoon.
Currently, computer model prediction advice indicates that high pressure will confine most rain chances to the south and west of Indianapolis from the race's start at 12:45 p.m. EDT into the afternoon.
However, it is still possible that a storm system to the west would spread its moisture far enough eastward into Indianapolis to deliver at least some light rain.
